I never knew it would be like this.
I always thought of the glory, the pride.
the honor, the respect, and most of all...
The acceptance.

But I would trade all of that, to be with you.
This place, all around me.
The killing, surprise attacks, the suspense.
The Loss.

Oh, God. Most of all the Loss.
We loose many everyday.
War is never pretty.
But i'd do it all over again,

Go through all the horror,
To have you here, with me.
You were the one who made me sane.
But you aren't here anymore.

Sacrifices have been made.
Because here, in this world.
In this hell.
Nothing matter anymore.

Because without you.
I am not sane.
Without you, I am not human.
Without you...

I am Nothing.

Okay, ,so this is a little poem I came up w/ in a coffee house.

Its about this guy who looses his love in war, they were both soilders.

Idk....i may end up editing it....actually I will be editing it!!!

its actually really good.... i um would recommend maybe being a little more clear on what the poem is about. You say that its about a guy who lost his love in war, i think that it could also be about (not to sound too religious) but God. i'm not that much of a poet but i'm a song writer and i know that when people read my songs and they don't have a clear meaning as to who its about, it gets put up to interpretation and more than likely they are going to relate it to their situation.

The poem all together is really good tho... sorry for the long winded response..... hopefully it was helpful

it was very helpful! The whole guy losing girl thing is how i interpeted it, but with my poems there isnt any definate plot ot meaning. Because there can be many ways to interpet it. I will be editing to try and make my interptetation come out more though!
